This is too involved to just post your router settings. I would recommend reading up on how to "cascade" your router or to make your Modem/Router act as a bridge.
The dlink will need to have its DNS disabled and have the Linksys do the DNS. Then the LInksys will be using the Dlink as its host. you may be better off seeing if you can make the dlink run in Gateway mode instead of router mode.
Then see how to implement the cascading router with your particular situation and WAN IP.
It is not compatible at all wifi is a wireless connection and you are adding another device called zyxel it is like i have adsl unlimited and am adding a new connection with adsl normal of course it will go down not same speed at all wifi connection is 54 mbps normal speed where as zyxel is too slow with only 10 mbps
you can use ethernet cable, or you can use the wireless.
search for the wireless network and connect your pc to that wireless network. or simply connect an ethernet cable to your pc and connect other end to the Linksys WRT54GL .
open an internet explorer (or whatever you use) type ip address.
