Microwave turntable wont turn

Hi - Possibilities of the turntable not spinning are either it is turned off, damaged or the support itself is damaged as well. Confirm that the power supply is not faulty or defective. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.

My turntable turns very slowly, I out on a new belt which is much tighter and it wont turn at all, tries but stops

It might not have been the belt that failed. Sometimes grease can build up where the turntable platter connects and slow it down. Or try turning the motor drive shaft by hand, if it is stiff see if you can clean it. Look also for obstrutions that might slow down the platter.

Yes the microwave is safe to use, without the turntable working.

My KD-291RC has power but my turntable wont turn. I touch the needle and I can hear its on and when I move the arm towards the record or set it on it it will not turn. Help?

Your turntable is belt-driven, it's likely that the belt just fell off. The belt lives under the turntable. On my turntable (a totally different model) the turntable lifts off.

Turntable wont stop turning, even when not in use

The turntable is a seperate intenty from the microwave itself, I would presume that the switch that turns off the turntable when the door is opened needs replacement.
