Gaggenau Cooktop Parts

I have an old Gaggenau CK 066-604 cooktop with a halogen element that is broken and the associated cam switch is very difficult to rotate, I want to replace both, hard to find parts. I need part numbers 098183(hla ht element) and 097829, cam switch, and a knob 156578. Any ideas?

My 5-burner 36" gaggenau has stopped working. I

What the problem is a part in the cooktop that opens to let gas flow to the knobs as soon as they are turned on is bad and no gas coming to surface unit burners. This a safety feature that the German goverment(where Gaggenau is made) requires that part to prevent a gas leak when cooktop is off.

The cooktop has locked me out, there is a red key that comes up when I push the power button, how do I unlock it?

I'm fairly certain all you need to do is press down where the illuminated red key is for about 5 seconds. If this doesn't work, please let me know and I will check on the correct method for this exact model.

Large burner elements ignite, and igniter spark fails to stop, then the burner shuts off as if ignition failed. Tiny central burner element does NOT light at any time. Apparently the safety cutoff...

There is a thermistor that must be in the flame area that needs to get hot. When hot it will turn the igniter off and keep the flame on. Check it's location and if it is in the flame then it needs to be replaced. not sure about the central flame problem. could be the switch.

The cooktop will not turn on. The little red light in the lower right corner of the touch panel is blinking. If one touches and holds it it does not turn on a burner per usual. The timer function works....

I'm going to assume this is a new installation, either way, it sounds as if you're only getting one leg of your 220v circuit, which wld run the timer and lights but not enough to power the burners. This is prly not something you shld try and repair yourself as a 220v circuit can cause some serious damage. At the least, you could first, TURN OFF THE BREAKER and then check the connections to the cooktop to make sure all connections are secure.

It looks like the gas valve for FR burner has to be replaced. Very unusual for Gaggenau gas cooktops.

Replacement dual burner Gaggenau CK594

You have 2 line, 2 load, and if there is an indicator light, 1 for that and 1 ground. The other guy may be right about the 2 grounds, if not, the indicator light may have a connection for hooking it to another light in series. The tech cannot understand the schematic? get someone who can.

Gaggenau clicking

Sounds like the spill got into one of the burner switches. This is not a big problem. Once it drys out it should return to normal. However if it keeps on clicking it could mean that one of the switches shorted out and will need to be replaced. The switches are located under the burner control knobs on the valve. Hope this helps.
