Question about Samsung Epix Cell Phone

The touch screen is not working on my Samsung Epix. Tried a hard reset, now the align screen is up and, with touch screen not functional, I am unable to align screen. Stuck.

If your Touch screen has failed, then the only thing you can do at this point is to get a replacement for the phone.

You can call AT&T's Warranty Line at 1-800-801-1101 and explain the issue. The will ship you another device - but be aware that it'll likely be a refurbished phone.

Samsung touch screen

Hello jezreel. I guess by now you either got a new phone or fixed the digitizer on the Samsung. alot of people called hard reset just tapping on the restore function inside of settings. Hard reset is when you press the volume rocker +&- and the power button all together until you feel a light vibration, then reset and wipe data and cache within the recovery mode. If you already tried this, then it's most probably the digitizer in your smart device.

On the bottom of youur cell near the # (hash) button , there is a small whole , take one needle and ***** it gentely , don't push it hard or further otherwise your mic will be damaged , do it gently--------------enjoy

I have a Samsung epix i907 and the touch screen is not responding

You can try a system reset by powering the unit off, removing the battery and SIM card for several minutes. Reinstall the SIM and battery then power up. If that doesn't work, you're in need of a replacement touch screen.

My touch screen froze, so I did a soft reset. This didn't work. So I did a hard reset. All seemed to be going to plan until the 'Align screen' appears. I align the screen as instructed but instead of going...

Whenever you do the alignment touch the spot on the screen with the stylus and hold the stylus on the mark until it moves to the next corner.... this may work

Touch Screen fails to work

get it serviced?
my guess, damaged screen.
most shops would touch any Ipaq.
why not ask on a real HP forum?
my guess, the only hope for old Ipaq

you will find a screen on, or prefferrabl you can go into any phone hardware store loated near you to solve your issue.

I have had a Samsung Epix since July 2009. Love the phone. I am experiencing a problem booting the phone now and have scoured the net and Samsung support team to level 3 and have no satisfactory answer on the fix. I have also checked xda developers. I am hoping that with your experience, you might be able to help or point me in a direction. My phone does the normal start up, (only while plugged in). It gets to, what I'm assuming, is the actual radio (phone) portion of the bootup (led glows red), and then goes dead. As the phone is plugged in to charger, the led which normally glows red, for charge, is now blinking at 2 sec intervals, red and off. Or the other indicator, while charging, is that the led glows a whitish amber. I actually had this happen to my original Epix about 2 weeks after I initially got it, and I returned it to ATT. The next part of the story, is that I actually bought a second Epix on Ebay, and it started showing these symptoms first, and wouldn't boot, but my original Epix still did. (I bought the Ebay replacement to replace the first, because the first had other issues.) Like I said, the first did boot, but maybe 3 days later, it stopped booting and charging also. The Ebay one was in pretty good shape. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I appreciate any help you might have. (Note: I was told by a tech at Samsung level 3 to reflash phone, but it won't even sync to computer with the boot-up/battery issue.) Again, thank you. Regards, Don
