Follow these steps start-control panel-add and remove programs-here search for the program you dont need and click remove(to uninstal),these steps are valid for any other programs you dont need, and you're done.

Unhooked everything to move computer. When reconnected cannot get mouse to work. have reset it and it still won't work. cannot get into computer without the mouse! Thanks!

Even when they do not normally need it you can try the logitech connection utility. http://www.userdrivers.com/Keyboard-Mouse/Logitech-Connection-Utility-4-80-for-Windows-XP-Vista/

this shoudl also be installed on your system if you installed setpoint. In the program files folder there is logitech inside that there shoudl be 2 setpoint folders. A and B. Look in B and the connectin utility should be in there.

Logitech V220 Mouse stopped working

Hi,

First of all, make sure you test the new mouse in a different USB-port then the old one, this can sometimes force windows to "reinitialize" communications with the mouse.

If this does not work try something of the following:

If you have the Logitech SetPoint software installed:

1)Remove it. *
2)Install it again

If you don't have the Logitech SetPoint software installed:
1)Install it.

Accesssing the setup for V320 logitech mouse

Did you only installed the drivers? not the setpoint?

The setpoin is the program who let you setup your mice
You can download it here:
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/428/133&cl=us,en?softwareid=671&osid=1

Under the flap "Select file" select setpoint 32-bit
Download and install, then you can setup your mice as you want

Good luck

Logitech Setpoint Uinstallation issue

Pretty sure you gotta download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and delete any of the settings you might have for khal, could also try to delete everything to do with Setpoint. Finally do a clean install and see what happens.

USB mouse won't work under XP in a dual boot Ubuntu GRUB 1.5

It has the latest mouse driver (logitech setpoint 4.0). Before installing Ubuntu the setup worked w/ SUSE/XP using GRUB dual boot. After installing Ubuntu XP does not see the usb mouse. Even Logitech setpoint does not have the mouse setup/configuration option. It appears that at boot it does not recognize the mouse or disables it. The BIOS has the usb keyboard and mouse enabled. Currently, I have two mices one for xp and either mouse will work under Ubuntu.

Volume control on my keyboard dont work on my logitech LX710

solution found at this web site: http://www.mstar.net/users/rlowens/?n=SetPoint.VolumeControl

So, you just need to "turn on application compatibility" for SetPoint.exe:
  1. Open C:Program FilesSetPoint
  2. Right click on "SetPoint.exe" (this will just be "SetPoint" for some users, with a mouse/keyboard icon) and select "Properties"
  3. Click the "Compatibility" tab and check the box by "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and choose Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
  4. Click OK
  5. You may have to turn volume all the way up/down or restart.

Mouse not working

First try uninstalling the Setpoint software. Xp should have a native driver for your mouse. If that does not work check to see (at the Setpoint website) if they have an undated driver. Download and do it again. You might also want to run scandisk just to make sure you do not have a cross linked file before going anything else.

GO TO SETPOINT DIRECTORY. DELETE FILES: LULNCHR.INI & LULNCHR.EXE. FILES ONLY RELATE TO AUTOMATIC UPDATE FOR NEW LOGITECH SOFTWARE. DELETING DOES NOT EFFECT FUNCTIONALITY OF SETPOINT.
