Dead, Daewoo 42

Noggin,

For a couple of weeks now the screen would just go off while watching tv or movies, the power 'on' light would switch from on to 'standby'. However yesterday, I went to turn it on and it is completely dead. Shows no signs of life at all. What do you think, time for a new one or can it be fixed for far less????

Cheers,

Ian

yes. it has been sitting alone, disconnected from everything and just a few minutes ago i plugged it into an outlet still nothing. It doesn't turn on. Could it be a fuse?

    Thnx

Hi,

Did you try power cycling the TV (unplugging it overnight from everything including power)?

Yes, could be. Are you planning to open it up yourself?

You want to call the customer support for the company that made your TV. They will tell you everything. Or you could go to bestbuy or something and see if they will help. And one more thing, don't put your phone number on here. People will start randmly calling you.

LG 42 LCD no sound or picture

Did anyone find out the solution for this??????? I have the exact same problem with my LG 32 LCD. I only had it for a year and a half, and the green light blinks a few times and it shows no picture. Not even a red light when the tv is off. The same thing happened a couple weeks ago and by some miracle it started working again.
