Disc will not eject from dvd player

Have you tried both the eject button on the DVD drive and the remote? Is there a disk jammed in the drive? Here is the manual:
http://www.curtisint.com/html/custservice/manuals/PRO_PLEDV1945A_EN.PDF

most of the time there is a small hole near the eject button that you can unbend a paper clip and insert it into that will release the door.

here's a video.. it's a computer, but same principle:

Can't eject disc

if you don't see a hole for the emergency eject even after you open the door, you may have to go online and download the driver to be reinstalled.

When I Press Eject button the tray does not open. It is also taking too much time during booting.

Use a pin and insert in the emergency eject hole (usually in the center below the tray) and then you can eject the drive tray with force. It is time you planned for a new drive.

Untill then please insert a music CD into the drive tray and leave it there, this will ensure the eject will work (most of the time). Booting time will definitely increase if the drive has issues, reading or responding.

I can't eject a dvd from my mac pro desktop

Try these tips.....usually holding down the touchpad buttton while tapping the eject button during bootup works.

picexporterror Shut down the computer and start up whilst holding down the mouse button. This may take some time, but keep your finger on the mouse button right up until the disc comes out or the log-in screen has appeared.
picexporterror If you have Toast Titanium installed on your computer, choose EJECT DISC from the menubar.
picexporterror Sometimes you can successfully use the eject disc button in iTunes even if the disc is not visible to the Finder
picexporterror Open Disk Utility and choose the disc you wish to eject in the left-hand pane, then click on the Eject button.
picexporterror Some Macintoshes have a paperclip hole that you can insert a straightened paperclip into, manually triggering the eject mechanism.
picexporterror Open Terminal and type "drutil tray eject" to eject the disc/tray, and "drutil tray close" to close the tray.
picexporterror Restart the computer while holding down Command-Option-O-F, to enter the Open Firmware prompt. Type "eject cd" without the quotes, and press return. The disk ought to eject. To start into OS X, type "mac-boot" without the quotes. Press return, and the computer will continue with the startup. (This will not work on an Intel Mac. There is no Open Firmware on Intel Macs. )
picexporterror If your computer has an eject button on the keyboard, restart the computer holding down the Option key. When the startup disk selection screen appears, let go of the option key and press the keyboard's eject button.

Hi- I've just inserted a CD into my MacBook Pro

CD Stuck in Device
First try the normal methods to remove the disc. Drag its icon to the Trash can in the Dock or select 'Eject' from the File menu. If you are running a virtual machine, e.g. VMFusion, ensure that the CD is disconnected from the virtual machine. This will sometimes allow the CD to now show up in Mac OS X. Shut down the computer and start up whilst holding down the mouse button. This may take some time, but keep your finger on the mouse button right up until the disc comes out or the log-in screen has appeared. If you have Toast Titanium installed on your computer, choose EJECT DISC from the menubar. Sometimes you can successfully use the eject disc button in iTunes even if the disc is not visible to the Finder Open Disk Utility and choose the disc you wish to eject in the left-hand pane, then click on the Eject button. Disk won't eject on my iMac

Ok, I assume you have hit the eject button on the keyboard. Try dragging the CD icon on the desktop to the trash can. If that doesn't work, Shut down the computer and start up while holding down the mouse button. This may take some time, but keep your finger on the mouse button right up until the disc comes out or the log-in screen has appeared. Some Macintoshes have a paperclip hole that you can insert a straightened paperclip into, manually triggering the eject mechanism. Another option is to open Disk Utility and choose the disc you wish to eject in the left-hand pane, then click on the Eject button. Sometimes you can successfully use the eject disc button in iTunes even if the disc is not visible to the Finder. Another option is to Open Terminal and type "drutil tray eject" to eject the disc/tray, and "drutil tray close" to close the tray. Lastly if your computer has an eject button on the keyboard, restart the computer holding down the Option key. When the startup disk selection screen appears, let go of the option key and press the keyboard's eject button. One of these should work.

DVD DOOR AND VCR DOOR WILL NOT OPEN, DOES NOT EJECT TAPES OR DISK

I have had some luck in unplugging the machine for five or ten and then trying again. I have spent five to ten minutes trying to get the darn thing to spit out the disk and it refuses. Unplugging either gives me time to cool off or it helps the machine :)

Not accepting a disk, acts like there is another disk in there

Hold the "Eject" button for ten seconds and try it. Oh and if you have a 40 gb model (2 USB ports) and the Eject button dosent work then try this, Turn off the back of the PS3 (Main power switch) and then hold the eject button (while the main power is off) keep your finger pressed on the eject button flick on the main power switch and it should sound like some HUGE fan don't get scared, wait until the fan stops turn off your ps3, start it up and insert the disk and IT SHOULD WORK

Cannot Eject DVD

There will be a manual eject but its slightly tricky. There will be a small hole(about 1mm diameter) near the tray where you insert the DVD. Just insert a samll pin or something into it and keep shoving it in and out by repeatedly pressing the eject button. If its just a stuck DVD then it will come out in a JIFFy. Otherwise send it for repairs as taking the unit apart might void your warranty! Good luck!
