Question about Televison & Video
I have an LG 42LC2D TV, and am trying to hook up a new Samsung P3600 Blu-Ray player, but am getting INVALID FORMAT ON HDMI2 when using Brand New Monster M2000 Series HDMI cable. I have also tried using another HDMI cable, switched HDMI ports, downloaded updates for the P3600, etc. The player works fine using component cables, but that defeats the purpose of having a Blu-Ray... I have now tried my second brand new P3600 player, and have achieved the same result: INVALID FORMAT ON HDMI2.
Does anyone know what to do to resolve this issue?
I have had this same issue.
Problem your tv isnt true 1080p meaning it will not work however when you switch to componet cables goto menu then change the display settings to 720p or 1080i then your HDMI connection should work fine.
