The bobbin case went ajar while sewing blue jean fabric. I cant figure out to put it back in. Your help is very much appreciated :

Hi Debbie,
This type bobbin case can be a pain to get back in. On photo #1, at the top left you see a silver piece (circled in red) with a rectangular hole in it (circled in green)...take a flat head screw driver and insert it into the slot then twist to the right so the little bar/flange (circled in blue) will twist to the left past the bobbin well wall (marked in neon green). Photo #2 Now the bar/flange (marked in blue) should be on top of the bobbin well wall (marked in neon green). Now set the bobbin case in the bobbin well (marked in pink). Photo #3 as you set the black bobbin case in, kind of angle the flat part that is marked by the orange X so that it will begin to underneath the bar/flange with large orange circle. It won't go in all the way but just start it and then set the rest of the case down in the well. Now twist the entire black case to the right and the flat black are marked with the orange (X) should slide underneath the bar/flange marked with orange circle. The flat piece marked with a purple (X) should be sitting in the area marked with an (X) in the bobbin well. Now take your screwdriver and stick it in the rectangular box and twist it back so the silver piece marked in blue with go back over the edge of the black bobbin case to help hold it in. Hope you can understand my instructions and good luck!

Why does fan no longer respond to remote?

Remote controlled ceiling fans do not respond favorably to wall switches. To restore order, you will have to start over. Shut down fan power at the source. Set the wall switch to ON and promise to never, ever use it again. Turn on power at the source. Try remote fan and light control functions. If either does not work, there could be pull-chain switches on the fixture that are interfering. Troubleshoot to get both fan and lights controlled only by the remote.

The heater runs constantly, the thermostat seems to work, I check continuity through it, it opens and closes. What else could cause not to shut off?

My goodman furnacs says my limit switch is bad blower works but does not ignite .....? its modle gmt070-3 and where is it located

There are several limit switches in the unit there in various places in burner compartment. One on blower housing . One thing that I would try is replaceing your filter and turn the power off to the furnace and try starting the system after power is D/C for 5 minutes.

Heater won't come on

The first thing to do is verify that you have power to your heater. If you have a volt meter you can remove cover from electric box inside furnace and set meter to a.c. volts and check across black and white wires. You can also turn your thermostat to fan on setting and fan should run if not you may not have power to heater or bad t-stat.
After you're sure you have power to heater turn thermostat to auto and heat. Turn temp setting up high enough to call for heat. See if your induced draft motor comes on. If it does not then check electrical connections or replace draft motor. If you have power to heater and t-stat is good if draft motor does not run then nothing else will work.
You can by pass t-stat to see if it's the problem by removing cover and and taking base off the wall to get to stat wires. Locate wires that are hooked to terminals marked R or Rh and W. Remove these wires and touch them together. If t-stat is bad this should make heater come on and run. If this works then you need to replace stat.
If this does not help you please let me know and tell me what you have found and I will do my best to assist you. Thank you

I have a Amana refrigerator model SXD22S2W and no cold I change the defrost thermostat and steel no work only make ice around the thermostat and under the little fan next to the thermostat what i have to...

remove the bottom kick plate and see if you have a timer or a computer board called an adaptive defrost board,if there's a timer turn the knob on it and see if the heater comes on,if it does then you have a bad timer,if it has the adaptive defrost there should be a tech sheet in the kick plate, look at it and it will tell you how to put your machine into defrost, also you changed out the thermostat already, shut down the machine, remove the freezer wall, unplug the heater and with a meter read out the heater,if it's good change out the timer or adaptive defrost board and you should be all set, also with that machine i need the p number,it's where the model number is,i looked up your model number but alot of machines popped up,it looks like you have a calrod heater and they hardly ever go bad so check for a timer or adaptive defrost board,if it's a timer turn the knob on it slowly till it clicks,it will be in defrost, remove the freezer wall and see if the heater is on or you can look to see if it's glowing or look for melting ice and you'll know the heater is on,if it has the board, look at the tech sheet,it will tell you how to put it into defrost,do what it says, when you open the freezer door if the fan is still blowing then the board is bad because the fan won't blow if it's in defrost on the older machines, let me know what you find

TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE MARKINGS ON MY

Are you sure it doesn't say HGE? HGE stands for Heavy Gold Electroplate. In other words, it's not solid gold but just plated. To be sure take it to a jeweler and they can tell with a simple test that won't damage the ring. The A in the circle could be a manufacturer's mark.

UNIT SOUNDS LIKE ITS SHUTTING DOWN ON A LIMIT SWITCH IN HEATER. THEY LOOK LIKE ROUND BUTTONS OF DIFFERENT SIZES. THE HAVE 2 WIRES GOING TO THEM AND THEY ARE A NORMALLY CLOSED. THERE IS A FAN DISK NORMALLY OPEN TO UNTILL IT GETS HOT AND CLOSES TO TURN ON FAN.  IF THE FAN SWITCH TAKES TO LONG TO CLOSE THEN LIMIT OPENS TO PROTECT FROM OVER-HEATING

A solid red light

If you have the economy button on turn it off. If there is a draft around the room sensor it will read much lower than the room. That should make the heater run wide open all the time however. Make sure the screens and fan blades are spotless. When it is 4 degrees outside your heater may be working very hard to try to heat the room.

Can someone please tell me what is the lowest temperature setting a Fahrenheat 3000 Watt Large Room Fan-Forced Wall Heater Model FZL3004 will turn on at ?

about the only way I can figure is to let the room get very cool and adjust the thermostat to its lowest setting. now turn on the unit. monitor the heat until the stat just opens. the thermostat bimetal will be closed and will open when the bimetal expands and opens its contacts. another way is to hitch up a chart recorder to measure temperature with its output connected to the heater. [too expensive for you or the DIY to accomplish]
