Re: iphone wont turn on after master reset
iPhone can lockup and stop working or just show the Apple symbol and
not do anything else. But panic not, normally an app has caused the
phone to crash and it needs to be restarted.
Here’s how you do it:
Sometimes just pressing and holding the home button for about 5 seconds, can help. But if not try this: Press and hold the iPhone’s
Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for several seconds, or until you
see the apple logo on the screen.
Ive got the same problem i neede to do a master rest on my iphone 3gs which i thought would be fine! But however It wont turn on now, the apple logo comes on and just stays like that untill the battery dies and then you go to charge it and its the same every time, Not sure on what i can do to fix it???? Helppppppppppppppppp me!

went to reset my iphone to restore it to factory settings and it never
came back on. It's been a week or two and it ran out of battery power a
couple of times, but it just shows the apple logo and a spinning circle
If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond
Press and hold the Home button for at least six seconds, until the application you were using quits.
If that doesn't work, turn iPhone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for a few seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't work, reset iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
More resets: Try This: 1. Remove Sim Card 2. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until Apple logo appears 3. Replace Sim Card 4. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until normal phone screen appears.
Also, Try this: 1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G. 2.) Start up iTunes 3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G 4.) While keeping the HOME button depressed, plug in the Sync cable 5.) A message will pop up to ask if you want to reset. 6.) Just click YES and the reset process should start.
Don't worry, you have to enter it into recovery mode and restore it.
The steps how to do so;
Turn your iphone on,Plug it into your pc, then Master Reset (Pressing home + sleep buttons together for 10 sec) it turns off. then wait till it turns back on, release the sleep button and don't let go of the home button...
Then u will see the Itunes sign with the usb pointing to it... then on your pc itunes will detect it
and you are free to restore. Enjoy
