Question about U-Line Icemaker
I have checked and There could be a couple of issues that affect the performance of this uint.
First what is the ambient temperature surrounding hte unit. If it is tto hot say above 80 degrees then it can affect ice production.
Next, when is the last time if ever that the coils have been cleaned? Keeping the coils clean so that you get good air flow across them is extremely important.
What about leveling the unit? If the unit is not completely level both front to back and side to side it can affect ice production.
If all of these things check out and no ice is produced then you need to find what controls the time out of the unit. Ice machines time out in two ways. Either a sensor or a timer. I am fairly sure that your unit just uses a timer to start the hot gas cycle. If everything else checks out then I would replace the timer. This is the reason that your cycles are running to short.
I hope that this will help you to solve your problem!
