Sounds like its trying to boot from the Optical drive (cd/dvd drive) thats empty or has no disc in it. You will need to get into the BIOS and change the boot sequence. Select HDDR 1st to boot from your C: drive where your OS is.
when you stuck on g1 big screen, you need: 1. download the right g1 radio 2. download danger spl. be carefull with this, search in wikipedia about it 3. download the latest rom
4. copy all file (in zip) to micro memory 5. enter fast boot (home + power about 20 second) 6. updated files radio first, reboot 7. updated dangerspl, reboot 8. updated rom 9. do hard reset / wipe (alt w) via fast boot all done
it only ur fan problem which one of the four fan or two ,might be stuck or jammed which starts after of couple of restarts, so i sugest u to check the fans when in operation

I had same problem with my DSC-G1. Here is how i fixed " album data error ".
1. go to MEDIA TOOLS
2. click on GENERAL
3. go to CHECK ALBUM
4. click OK
