When you cleaned it, you may have pinched the large brown o-ring that is around the fan. Take gun apart again and reassemble. before you place the orange head valve cover on, press the nose of the gun into a wood surface and assure the o-ring goes into chamber unrestricted. Basically, the aluminum fingers of the cylinder should not pinch off the o-ring.

Make sure the safety is being pushed in all the way

it will not fire unless the safety is fully engaged

There might be an internal issue with the gun regarding the technical parts which helps in the process of firing easily. My father has a collection of guns as he is a retired officer of an armed force but he took great care of them all including regular oiling, testing their reliability and never forgets a concealed carry holsters while riding to avoid the damages that can be done due to falling down or being misplaced.

The problem of intermittent firing began some time ago. Now the gun will not fire at all. The gas bottle is full and the battery is fully charged. I disassembled and cleaned the gun. It subsequently fired...

what is the expiration date on the bottom of the fuel cell?? Also what were the condition of the o rings and did you relube with a good quallity oil. What I would do is remove the front assembly to expose the fan only and then insert a battery, pull the trigger and the fan should run for a few seconds, next there is a roller lever towards the top, depress it keeping fingers away from fan and again it should run for a few seconds, next depress and hold the lever and then pull the trigger and you should see it fire, repeat this several times, that will narrow it down to the spark unit/electronic assenbly or the cylinder.

Paslode framer when you depress trigger there no resistance and it does not fire

Paslode framer has a lever inside of trigger that may be bent or missing. Easy to check. Remove air line and nails. Remove trigger by pulling pin. Check under trigger for missing parts. Test gun by connecting to air and place nose of gun against wood or hard rubber and then depress firing pin. If gun fires then problem is with lever under trigger or safety mechanism which is in two parts. Check safety for bent or broken piece, usually upper part will be missing lip that actually pushes on the lever. If however gun does not fire when firing pin is depressed, time for replacing orings in gun. Parts are available at . Good luck with your repair and post again if you have other questions.

Paslode nail guns won't shoot

piston is probably jammed

This happens sometimes try holding it up against a board with the trigger depressed and then inset the battery.

The goal is to try to force the firing sequence to get the piston back to the right position with corded units this is simply done by attaching the air hose with the trigger pulled this causes air to rush into the gun chamber pushing the piston back and firing a nail out.

The cause of this is a misfire or jammed nail that stopped the piston in the wrong location so air will not build in the chamber correctly.

Hope that helps

Paslode nail gun 325 black not firing

Any time these guns become intermittent or stop firing but the fan still runs, the first the to check is the expiration date on the gas cartridges. The do expire and this will make the gun work inconsistently or not at all.

My paslode keeps flashing green red after it fires once. I have checked the wiring and all seems fine. The trigger and contact switch are both working but when it sparks once it cuts out

is the fan working? if you have the tool partially disassembled and it seems that you know what you are doing you can fire the tool in this position to check for the entire function. When was the last time cleaned? To fire and test motor connect the head assembly back up laying to side so fan can turn freely then push trigger fan should come on and run for a matter of seconds, next depresss the safety switch and then trigger to get gun to fire, look at spark for crisp action, fan should be on and again run for a few. If not then you have a problem with either fan or spark unit. You can go to and type in your model and they have a troubleshooting guide in the manual that might help.

Paslode nail gun not firing

Yes you need to oil driver blade piston.
You need to check for spark. With no nail or gas in it. Take of main cylinder(4bolts on top, 2 bolts on nose. And then put in battery. And then push upper switch(behind roller at top) and the fan will come on. And then pull the trigger. You should have spark.
