Try getting daemon tools or other converting programs. today there are many programs you can use to view these types of files also if you just want to see it, then try getting vlc lan media player it plays just about anything.

.xba files are a proprietry format to the X200 digital video recorder from Timespace Technology.

.oba files are for the older X100 DVR and require a different player.

See the faq page on their website for details; http://www.tspace.co.uk/faq.html

Trying to view video fromm gopro hero 2 on my sony vaio

remove the SD card insert into the SD slot in the computer Card Reader. Depends on the file format. What have you tried to view the video on? Take a look at page 53 of the user manual: https://gopro.zendesk.com/home IF you need a freeware Media Player I suggest VLC, it plays most formats and easy to use, at : http://www.filehippo.com/download_vlc_32/

Error whenever i try to format my laptop. i tried to press f8 before windows logo appears, then i tried to highlight and enter repair, after that, and error appears like theres a missing file or there is...

If it's a Windows laptop, the easiest way to format it would be to use your Windows installation DVD. Put the DVD in the drive, then restart your computer. Follow the prompts until you get to the partition select screen. At the bottom, click "Advanced Options", then the format option should show.

For a Mac laptop, basically the same thing. Put your OS X DVD in the drive, then restart. Hold the C key down until you see a grey screen with the Apple logo. Select your language when it asks, then select "Disk Utility"

Displays file error message when trying to playback still images and video footage

Did you take the card and insert into computer/device to view photos?

Viewing photos can alter the format of the photos thereby preventing your camera from reading them.

I viewed some photos and rotated a few photos and my camera no longer recognizes the format.

good luck
