Most games allow you to do this at startup. connect the card before turning off the xbox, when the game starts choose the card as the saving device.
you can also copy your file from the HD to the card by going to system settings.
also, some game have an autosave feature, so you have to go into the game options to choose the external card.

On a old game boy colar game pak clear package i have Pokemon sapphire edition the inner memory and backup memory batteries damaged were when i play the game willnot save.

If the inner memory chips and internals are damaged then no. Your games will not save properly all of the time. but you might be surprised at how tough those things are. If your games are not saving I would recommend changing the internal battery and seeing if that solves the problem however be careful as towards the later end of production on most games Nintendo started to solder there batteries in. So be careful when taking that little guy apart that you don't break the arm holding the battery in if it is soddered.

Upgrade wiped out game memory

Hi

Did you take a backup of your game saves or the system backup before upgrading the firmware of your PS3? if not then there is no method to retreive your game saves, however i am listing few steps for you so that you can take a backup in future before you upgrade your PS3

Game saves are of two types, the first ones are those which you can take on any memory stick (cf, ms duo, sd) and there are few saves which cannot be taken on a memory stick due to copyright issues, here you would have to take a full system backup and would require a external Hard Disk to save or a memory stick with a larger capacity.

Steps for Game Save Backups only

1. On the XMB (cross media bar), go to the Game section.
2. Go to Game Saves
3. Put in your memory stick
4. Find the game save you want to copy/backup, highlight it and hit the Triangle button.
5. Choose the menu option to Copy
6. Hit the X button on the memory stick and let it copy.
Steps for System Back up

In the XMB, go to System
Go to Settings > System Settings > Backup Utility
Then choose Back Up
Finally, pick the device to backup too (memory stick, usb harddrive, etc).

While doing a system backup all content of your PS3 including videos, music etc. would be included in the backup, however if you have purchased any copyright material, it would not get restored even if you do a complete system backup

When try to save it says create save file failed

You should try with another Memory card. Perhaps the one you're trying to use it Full, or has a bad chip in it. If it is doing it with other games as well, then Perhaps your PS2 has an issue. Try using the Other memory card slot. If none of these solutions works, try taking it to a friends and using their PS2. If this makes it work, then your PS2 has an issue. Contact Sony for repair and replacement options.

HOW TO SAVE MSG IN MEMORY CARD IN Z550I

In SE Z550i there is no option to move text messages from phone memory to external memory card. The phone comes with 20MBs of onboard memory which is shared by phone's functionalities such as calnder, to do lists, phonebook/contacts, messaging, installed games and applications, etc. The problem that you've mentioned above can occur when you store/install other files such .mp3, photos, games and applications, etc. on your phone's memory instead of the external memory stick. Please check if there are any mp3s, photos, etc. stored on your phone memory and move them to the memory card. In future, try to keep the phone memory as free as possible from mp3s, photos, etc. and please do not install too much of games and applications in the phone memory, instead install them on the external memory. If you have already installed many games and applications in your phone please check if they are installed on your phone memory and if they are please move them to the memory card.
Have a great day!
