Nintendo is actually covering the cracks or dents that appear around the plastic hinges, since the quality of DS Lite build is not very reliable, however as per the company it's a very small % of users facing this problem, still you can call up the customer support and check how much would it cost, and the also it's not sure of the dent you have got would be covered under warranty by the company in case your device does have it right now.

If the company does not cover your dent repair under warranty it may cost you somewhere around $90-$95 to send it for repairs to Nintendo, however you can check this website here which would cost you less for repairs.

Cant play any game

Is this the top screen or the bottom screen? The top isn't meant to react to the stylus.

Bottom screen scrambled on nintendo ds lite

This option is only suitable for out of warranty devices as opening it violates the warranty.

Open the device following this info:
How to dismantle an Original Nintendo DS.

If yours is the NDS Lite, just find this video in youtube:
"Disassembling Nintendo DS Lite"

The bottom screens have 2 wrap wires, one big and visible, that is the screen cable, the other is small and not so obvious and this one is for the touch screen and you dont want to get it broken.

The cable connectors release the cable by lifting ot pulling the brown or black lock and be sure to remember how it was connected so you can know the right position of the cable when connected right not having any problem with loosen cables before you finish.

Good Luck...
