When playing back the tape seems to roll, but no picture nor sound. Just a blue screen.
Additional problem: when pressing the rew button, it just sinked into the camcorder and stays stuck in there. It felt like pressing into fudge.
The camcorder when opened was radiating heat from within. First time it has ever done that!

-   Hi everyone, I have Panasonic NV-GS11, and the problem I have is with playback any tape. The counter just remain the same as if a blank tape has been inserted. When recording the counter stays 00-00-00 the whole time even after pressing record button. Any help is appreciated.

Had the same proble with my two three year old Panasonic PV-DV203 camcorders. Blue screen only. I purcahsed a TDK mini DV head cleaner and ran it in play for 10 seconds. Now both camcorders play and record again. Good luck.

Same problem - DCR-DVD103 C:1302. Have changed disks, but original Sony DVD-RW shows same result. I assume, camera can't read disk itself. I've found a recommendation to make cold reset - did not help. Any suggestions? Thank you. P.S. Disk rotation starts up, but in two seconds the speed is going down, and after two cicles of up and down rotation is going to finish with error 1302.
