Dropped Laptop and Screen is now Sideways

Try pressing Ctrl + Alt + UP Arrow Key, or try Ctrl + Alt + and a different Arrow Key.

If that does not work: Right-click on empty Desktop > Graphics Options > Rotation.

or
Press "Ctrl-Alt" and an arrow key (left, right, up or down) to rotate the screen.
Continue pressing the hotkeys and arrow keys until you reach the desired rotation. This works with most video drivers on Windows XP. If it doesn't,

Click "Start," then "Control Panel," then "Display," then the "Settings" tab. Click the "Advanced" button. Check for an "Orientation" option. Select your desired orientation.

hope this helps

I have bought a new lg gu220 mobile handset. but it has a problem with keypad. down arrow key doesn't work properly. So I want to solve this problem. Can anyone help me to solve this problem?

Hi,
That seems to be a defect on that unit I suggest you have it returned and replaced right away having it repaired may fix the problem but may occur again if you have it replaced with one that does not have a defective arrow key. trying to repair the arrow key may make the damage bigger having it replaced will save you more time from doing repairs than having to repair it over and over again till it breaks.

I've been a geek since the late 80s. I've been seeing my Yahoo email database is not working right. I press the down arrow, it goes up. I press the up arrow it goes down. Anything I can do about it?

It sounds like the arrows are in the worng places. Have you checked to make sure that the up arrow is on the up key and the down arrow is on the down key. If not I suggest you do this and either get a replacement keyboard or replace you keys. Either way it is your choice. Let me know if these help.

C5180 printer won't print.

I just had this problem and here's what I did (with a little help from a previous yahoo answers post)...

1. Turn printer and computer off
2. Disconnect printer from computer
3. Unplug printer completely
4. Hold power button on printer while plugging printer back into power source. Maintain holding power button in until printer cycles completely (Ihave no idea if hold it actually does anything...but I tried it and it worked)
5. Turn printer back off (which actually may happen anyway when you finally release the power button)
6. Reconnect printer back to power source and computer.
7. Power both back up.

That should do it hopefully. Also make sure your printer cartridges aren't totally out. It won't let you print if even one of them is completely empty.

Good luck.
