Question about John Deere 420,1020,2010,2020,2510,2520 Tractor Float
Sounds like you might have a relief valve stuck,with no releif there can be too mutch pressure as you say.If you go to either rear drive motors[cam lobe motor] then follow the hoses from it to the middle of the combine until you get to the solenoid conltrol valve,the relief valves are in this valve.You need to run some pressure test to verify this,let me know how you make out.
