I have a mitsubishi dlp and when its turned on the screen is all red, no sound no picture. I replaced the bulb today but the same thing happens. The green light blinks for a minute then the yellow light just a red screen!

Try cleaning the little fans that keep the bulb cool, the temp sensor will shut it off so not to damage the bulb , the winning sound may be the fan going bad or not working like it should.
A common issue and it may be your problem is dust and dirt inside the unit---the set intakes air from the front and exhausts it out the rear==I have seen several of these sets where removing rear cover and taking stthe set outside and blowing it with a air compressor clears the issue.
Fans and other critical items that get clogged or coated with a moderate amount of dust will cause this issue.
Lets try an error code operational checl. Unplug the tv and plug it back in. With the standby LED on press and hold the MENU and DEVICE/INPUT buttons for 5 seconds. The LED will flash a certain number of times pause for a while and blink again. Count the blinks before and after the pass, then post it here so that I can tell you what the problem is
problem with mitsubishi wd65737. thought the bulb was bad, bought a new bulb replaced it and now the screen doesnt want to come on. light on the front of the tv turns green, you have sound but no picture then the tv turns off the light on the front is now steady red. resetting the sytem worked yesterday but not today.
hi....Your micro chip is faulty check the voltage comming out of the 42nd leg it shuold be 13 volts dc if you are not getting that voltage replace the microchip.and the eeprom IC.... thank u rate me!!
