For the last couple of days when I try to turn the set on it will immediately turn off then back on and off again three times then stays off. I cant figure out what the problem is. I would very much appreciate some help with this problem.

I had the same problem. The TV would shut off an on. The Sevice Tech came 6 months ago and replaced the driver board, we had to call back because the TV started shutting off and on again. With the same problem!

This problem seems to be very common. Do a search on google or even on this site and you will find all sorts of stories of smoke, sparks, flames and melted plastic with these televisions. I believe this common problem with large sparks and flames warrants a recall. Report it to the Consumer Product Safety Commision.

My TV turns on and off randomly!

Remove the rear cover & turn set on, pull all the connectors off one at a time and push back on. I have had loose connectors cause this problem, and by doing the above has fixed it. Note do the pull off and push back on of the connectors, with the tv unplugged from the AC outlet.
