Question about Compaq Armada E500 Notebook
Normally in laptops, there "might" be one screw under the computer about in the middle of the keyboard. It is normally not hidden anywhere. If there is a little compartment with a cover under the computer, you might remove that and see if there is a screw there.
Otherwise, the keyboard is either held in place by clips or, alternatively, it has screws in the top under the plastic bezel that is on top of the computer just below the screen. You'll have to look carefully at the palm rest to see if there is a separate piece that lifts up to expose the top of the keyboard.
