Most of the time you can find a replacement through Ebay, however, the repair can be kinda tricky. If you post the model number, I can try to find more information and maybe a link to a new hinge for you.

Screen of Fujitsu P5020D goes blank when in certain range of position. Evidently the connection from the screen to the machine is faulty.

Sounds like the cable connecting the LCD to the mainboard through the hinge is bad. Probably needs replacement. You could order one yourself if you feel up to it, or have a repair shop replace it. Any way other than doing it yourself will be expensive.

Is it under warranty?

Asus computer keys feel off

Keys are not interchanageable between different model laptops.
If you still have the keys and the little plastic hinges on the keyboard then you can place the key tops back on the keyboard and press down on the key until it clicks back in place.
If you have lost the keys then you need to replace the keyboard with a new one or from a laptop that is the same make and model.

You maybe able to get a replacement keyboard from this WEB site.

How do I remove the keyboard from an Acer Aspire 4810TZ

Hi,

To remove the keyboard from your laptop, look at the 'shoulders' of the plastic fascia where the screen meets the base. Lift the screen up and trace the indentation/slot 'round the back, Insert the nail of one finger while you gently press the fascia inward (not downward) just above or below the slot. Don't use anything metal. The fascia will lift a little at thee points covering the hinges. Open the screen fully (flat) while keeping the gap there, then 'persuade' the panel to lift, while pushing downward a little where it meets another part of the fascia at the keyboard's edge. It is an art, so try not to damage the fascia. You will now see some small screws holding the keyboard in place.

Thanks and have a nice day.

Screen falls back

Loose hinges or bad hinges. You can pop off the hinge cover (above the keyboard) and 'try' to tighten the hinges, but if that doesn't work, it's failing hinges and the only fix is to get them replaced mate.
Hope this hellps, be sure to rate!! :)

Replace LCD for Presario C502US Laptop.

I can give you some general advice. I haven't worked on your particular model, but I can help guide toward what you want to do. To remove the LCD screen, you have two main goals: 1) disconnect the signal cable and 2) remove the LCD screen at the hinges. Depending on the model, you will need to remove the cover between the keyboard and the hinges, the hinge covers, and perhaps the keyboard too. The ribbon cable that connects to the LCD matrix is under that cover between the keyboard and the hinges. The cover also covers up the screws for the hinges. Get to that LCD and unplug it first; then remove the screws for the hinges. The voltage inverter that jacks the +18 volts up to +600 volts for the screen backlight is usually either under the cover above the keyboard or behind the bezel beneath the screen. Good luck!
