1996 grand cherokee front driver door will not close all the way, the door itself can close if i slam it on the outside but otherwise its very hard.

Your description indicates the door hinges require adjustment. Usually the striker would be removed and the door hinges adjusted for easy closing and equal gaps. It is likely in your efforts to make the door flush with the front wing, mudguard or fender, the hinges are too far in. Most likely your replacement door is not identical to the original - not unusual for various reasons... Once the door hinges have been adjusted to provide a satisfactory position and closing the striker would be refitted and adjusted so it goes into the catch or latch dead centre - neither lifts nor pulls down the door as it closes. That is where the door needs to be and if it stands proud a little it is just bad luck - often the front fender can be repositioned and then the bonnet or hood readjusted. A competent panel beater would be able to tweak things for you to make them acceptable. It might have been better to fit a new latch to the original door.

Trying to reverse door swing on Samsung washer WF405ATPASU/AA

Tony, this is a simple procedure and you just need a medium sized phillips head screwdriver. Start by opening the door and removing the two phillips screws that attach the hinge to the machine. Remove the door by lifting up and out. Next, remove the two screws that that you will now see (previously hidden under the door hinge that you just removed). Now, go to the opposite side and remove the two screws that hold the door latch and pull out the plastic latch insert. Also, remove the two screws located (about 4 inches) above and below the latch insert. Now simply reverse the process by securing the plastic latch on the left side along with the two screws (top and bottom). Before securing the door on the right side, lay it down and remove the screw that is used to hang the door (within a slotted hole on the machine) and move it to the top of the hinge (you will see a hole for it). Now simply hang the door on the right side of the machine, and firmly secure it with the remaining two screws. Your door should move freely and latch securely.

Battery door latch broken

Unfortunately HP will not sell you a camera battery door. If you can find another camera that is broken with a good battery door you may have a chance.

To repair/transfer the new battery door, you will have to use a small jewerly store screw driver that you can buy at the dollar store and use it to push the door hinge bar to one side of the camera.

Then, pull the door hinge out but be careful not to lose the tiny spring that is installed in between the hinges. ( Make sure that you know and understand how to put it back the same way.) You can then pull the battery door from the camera.

Do the same thing to good camera. Practice on the broken camera first. The second time it should go easier for you. When you install the new battery door, push the hinge bar in all the way to one side of the camera. Hold the door to give you the proper alignment and then use the small screw driver to pry the hindge bar from the one side to make sure that it is equally in each of the black hinge connectors.

This worked for me. I was fortunate enough to find someone who had a broken HP MZ67 digital camera that had a "good" battery door. It took me about 30 minutes to complete the job. I hope this will help you. You can email me if you need more advice. I am a computer tech.

Camera film door will not latch. The door latch

Can it be repaired? It needs a new latch piece. Maybe a new door, if its all one piece.
I do not own one so not sure about that model. Look at the door hinge. If a small lever sticks out of the hinge, it may be easily removed and replaced with a new door. otherwise you need to remove the bottom plate of the camera to replace the door. Be very careful doing so as things could pop out when you open it.
You could also send it in to a repair shop, where they will also clean, lubricate and adjust it before returning.

Is it worth it? Only you can answer that. You might be able to pickup a used one on Ebay, so you have a source of parts.
If you have no reason to keep that particular camera, replace it with a newer Nikon, so you can keep using your flash and lenses.

Nikon 4500 latch will not hold door to storage card shut

1) No, the screws do not hold the hinge itself in place. the door hinge is integrated into the CF card reader. the screws hold in the reader.

2) no clue, sorry.

3) no recomendations, but there are lots of authorized nikon repair centers online.

good luck.
