Please remove the cover of the housing.. see if there is a disk on the top of mechanical assembly that was stucked.
You may also need to take a look at the cover of the housing. See if it's not deformed (caused by a force on pressing downward the housing to the top cover of the disk assembly of the player ). When the disk was playing and the top cover that holds the disk in place touches the cover of the housing, caused the chattering sounds and may not read the disk properly.
Just flattened the cover so as not to touch the disk assembly.
