There is a float in the bottom of the tub that is supposed to rise with the water level and tell the machine when it is full. It looks like an upside down teacup and should be near the door, but off to one side.

This float might be snagged on something- remove the bottom rack and check for debris (food, utensils, hair, string...) in the tub. Also make sure there is nothing in the rack that is hanging down over the float. With the machine empty try to raise and lower the float with your hand.

If the float appears to be going up and down then check the electrical side of the switch with a continuity tester (ohm meter). It should go from no resistance to open circuit and back again when you move the float.

If that is okay check the wiring and wire ends for frayed wires or corroded terminals.

Last item is it could be an issue with the controller.

SOURCE: Dish washer over filling?

The first thing you should do is clean the level probes in the unit. There are two probes sticking through the back of the unit and the water completes a circuit between these two telling the machine when it is full. If they are clean, you may have a faulty sensor or wiring.

SOURCE: Open the dishwaser while still filling now keeps going to error

After reading a few of the other Haier models troubles, I pulled the unit out and tip it at 45 degrees backwards for around minute. Water pored from the back of the unit, once cleaned water up reinstalled unit and all seems to be back in working order.

dishwasher leaking from the door or from the bottom of the door is common problem and yes its advisable to get it fixed.but if its having any other problem other then leaking then it has to be checked first.but leaking problem is common it can be solved.first from which part of the door area the leak is occuring that has to be checked.
Some common leaking trouble makers....
Leaks at the door:
Door gasket loose/torn
Corner gaskets or door baffle/vent gasket
Door lock/latch loose/broken
Split spray arm
Over filling with water...usually the level is just under the heating element is normal
Something leaking through the door...like the soap or rinse agent dispenser gasket, silverware basket button.
Door hinge(s) bent
Wrong soap was used...dish sink soap instead of dishwasher soap
Rinse aid being used with mechanically softened water ( makes foam or suds inside the dishwasher )

Leaks from under the unit:
Look for whiting or calcium stain on the motor and pump assembly = motor and pump assembly seal leak...access panel removal help
Hose for upper spray arm split
Fill hose split or fill hose spout air inlet is calcium covered
Drain hose is split
Rusted liner...metal liners only
Fill valve leaking or allowing water to fill all the time
Heating element ends....where they come out through the dishwasher liner
Float or float gasket

WHEM I START MY IGNIS DISHWASHER IT STARTS TO FILL THEN FROM THE RIGHT HAND CORNER CLEAN WATER STARTS TO LEAK OUT . I LOOKED AT THE DOOR SEALS AND THEY SEEM FINE I HAVE ALSO PUT IN A NEW FLOAT SWITCH AND...

it sounds like it overfilling,it may be a preesure switch problem.if you turn the dishwasher off the valve should stop if it doesnt then its the valvle.you may have to try cleaning the sunp under the filter.it may be clogged with sludge stopping the pressure switch from working.you shold hear a click when the switch activates.its difficult without being there.hopr this helps.
