I just got a new LG env3. i had my old number switched over and when I got it I thought I the number hadn't yet been ported. It has been a few days just like the website I bought it from said to wait . I checked and I can make calls but that is it. when we call the phone to see if it will go through it goes right to voicemail.

There is no way to tell which phone it is unless you call someone else and have absolutely no problems. Then it is your friends' phone that is having problems. I know this seemed useless, but I hope I helped. Good Luck.
for sending text messages : 1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct 2. call to your network operator customer care 3. request the message center number... 4.note it down 5. go to message settings>message center number 6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it

Such problems occur when your message center number has been tampered with. Call your service provider to get the message center number go to message settings and check the message center in use input the correct center number and your problem is solved. Hope this solution has been helpful to you?
i encountered it many times in my customers phone ,we fix everything ,signal ,software all of the defects that related to call but no luck..and you know what there is only one solution that we discovered ,change SIM CARD and it will be ok.. i hope it will help..

call the customer service of your service provider ( AT&T,Vodafone,Verizon etc)....they will set up message center number on your phone ...and send you sim updates ....and then you will get the text message options
I had just gotten my old Env3 replaced because the internal screen was messing up. And now within two weeks of getting a new Env3 to replace my old one it's doing the screen freezing and shuttin off. But my Niece has the same phone and has had it since July and she has had no problems with it. They're great phones. So I would go for it, pray you get a good one, but make sure you get a warranty.
Yeah, I had that problem too. I thought my phone was broken. -_- My old phone from Verizon is like 4 years old and I JUST got my enV3. On my old phone, I'd have to set the alarm's ringtone to "no ring." But, on my enV3, "no ring" literally means NO ring, no vibration, no notification, no nothing. On the enV3, in order to set your alarm clock to vibration mode, all you have to do is make sure you "master volume" is in vibration mode, but you have to set your alarm's ringtone to something other than "no ring."
