Overheating only in traffic when I use my air-con.

Hi There,
I bought nissan sentra limited edition 1994 w/ 5 speed here in Hawaii for three months ago. My question is why my temperature gauge is getting higher when I use my aircon only in traffic? I get diagnostic in Firestone shop & they said I need to replace bought a/c condenser fan & radiator cooling fan. Do I need to replace the radiator cooling fan?
I just bought a/c condenser cooling fan, & I will do it my self when the part arrive.

You have two fans in your Nissan, one is for the engine and the other one is for the A/C. Whenever you turn on your A/C, the fan runs continuously not matter what untill shut your engine down. First you need to check the fan switch for the A/C before you go out and buy one. As for the cooling fan for the motor. There is no need to buy a fan for the engine side. Track the A/C fan wire back to the switch and let me know.

Gas gauge not working

The fuel gauge is operated by the fuel sending unit. The sending unit may be stuck. The temp sensor may also be bad.
First check your fuses.

My Nissan Sentra 1996 Tempreture Gauge is no working.

A 1996 Sentr's water temp monitoring system is (I think) electrical, so have an electrician check your temperature gauge, thermostat, and all the wiring involved to find out which is working, then have the defective part replaced.

No heat in 94 nissan works it is just

This sounds like the thermostat needs replacing as long as the radiator has the proper coolant level. If your vehicle has a temperature guage watch it to see if it is at normal operating temperature after the warm up period. If the temperature goes up and down or doesn't reach what is the normal temperature that is the problem. Normally a bad thermostat will stay open which causes the engine temperature to be much cooler than normal thus no heat.

I have a 1994 limited edition nissan sentra. How do i find out what size engine i have in it? I am told that it is either a 1.6 or 2.0.

There should be a sticker under the hood telling you what size it is, if not type the vin nunber in on kelly blue book and it might tell the engine size. The size of the engine is recorded by one of the numbers in the vin number, search the web using the vin and I will bet you will find the anwer.

    1994 Nissan Sentra

Get a Chiltons/Haynes manual for your make/model/year and go to the troubleshooting section. It sounds like the same thing my little rabbit did years ago. Turns out it needed new fuel filters and the fuel tank flushed. The gunk kept impeding fuel flow. Didn't do good things for the fuel pump either.
