Your LCD panel is losing it - either the connections between the electronics and the glass panel are getting damaged, or the control electronics is dying for some reason. You can check if it's a connection problem by gently pressing the plastic frame above or below the display and seeing if it changes for better.
Either way, your LCD will need replacing. If the machine is still under warranty, contact the Acer service a.s.a.p. to get a warranty repair, otherwise it will cost you quite a bit...
