What are the symptoms before you reboot your wireless equipment? Can you try rebooting one device at a time and then test afterwards to see whether rebooting one or two of them makes the symptoms go away? (So one day you might try rebooting the PC first, next day you might try rebooting the router first, etc.)

The first idea to try is to make sure there is not an over heating problem. Make sure the router and the modem are not sitting on each other, and make sure there is plenty of room in between them. If that doesn't fix it, reply back.

How do i connect the belkin n+ wireless modem

Connect a computer to any one of the four LAN ports of the Belkin wireless router.
Launch your web browser on the computer. In the address bar, type
Click Login in the upper right-hand corner of the page. The router does not ship with a password, so just click Submit and you will be able to login to the router.

To setup your wireless network, perform the following steps:

1.Disconnect or turn off your broadband modem.
2.Connect the wireless router to the broadband modem through a network cable and then turn it on. You will have to plug in the network into a port called Internet, WAN or WLAN. The other ports on the router are for sending and receiving information to other devices on the wireless networks.
3.You can now connect to the internet via the router with the help of the wireless network card installed on your pc or laptop. The wireless card on the computer has to be turned on for it to recognize and connect to the wireless network.
You can check if the wireless network has been successfully setup by accessing the default router address via a web browser. You will be prompted for a username and password. After you have entered the default username and password, you will be directed to the routers configuration page. For your router, please use the address Username "admin" and password "admin" (without the quotes), in case the blank does not work.

If this doesn't work for you, please comment and let me know, and I will be happy to assist you to further resolve your issue.

I will appreciate your feedback and positive rating for this free solution.
Thank you.

WLAN is not working

Hi masif - please don't rate this yet! Unplug your modem and router. After 60 seconds plug in your modem. After the modem lights return to normal, plug in your router. Give it 15 seconds and then try it. Let me know what happens.

Hi i cant connect to internet

I don't know why this is posted in UPS problems, but anyway...
Try two things--the easiest is to turn off (unplug from power) your router and your modem. Let sit a few minutes, turn back on, then see if that has done the trick.

If that doesn't work, you may simply need to go to network and sharing center if you have Vista, click on "connect to a network", and see if your router is found as a wireless connection available to you. If it is, just click on it, and you are in business. If you can't find your router via the windows utilities, (various other things to do are in "help"), you may have to
reconfigure your router setup by resetting your router to its virgin state--usually by pushing a paper clip into the reset hole in the router--usually mentioned in the directions. Then just reconfigure it according to directions, and you are in business.

Card does not acquire ip address. repair does not work defaults to

What is the network adapter connected to - a modem or a router? Is there any other computer or device that is connected to that modem or router and is able to acquire an ip address? This would generally happen when the network adapter is not able to automatically negotiate with the connected device (which might have 10/100 ethernet ports). You can resolve this by forcing the network adapter speed to, for instance, 100 mbps. Please revert back with further observations.
