Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
I was playing Resistance 2 one night when the game froze up. Now the system wont seem to start up properly more than once a day, and freezes up shortly after being turned on. My PS3 is a 60 GB version which I bought off Ebay. I already had to deal with the blue-ray drive failure that's oh so common with this model, so I didn't think I'd be having problems with that again. I have already opened the console, so repairs through Sony are out of the question, but as a result I am confident in my ability to open up the PS3 and replace any part that may be malfunctioning if I can find one for purchase online. Is there anything I can do to fix this or do I need to send it to the guys who fixed it before and cash in on their warranty?
If you already checked everything out then your best bet is to send it to the ones with the warranty because if you start fumbling with it you might just break off something or damage something either way leave it to the pros..
