You must update the P2 driver through USB first.

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DOWNLOAD PICTURES FROM MY OLYMPUS x-21 IHAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE

Install the drivers for your camera on to your computer. The software should be provided on CD. If you don't have the CD, you can download necessary drivers/software from the Olympus site. You can then connect your camera to your computer by the provided cable. If a dialog screen doesn't pop up go to My Computer and find your camera.
Another way to upload your pictures, would be to insert the memory card into your computer. Again a dialog box should open prompting you to upload images to computer. If that box doesn't appear find your card in My computer and right click on the images and drag them to your desktop/file folder.

I cant upload my pictures from the scan disk I use for my vivitar, my computer keeps telling me to insert the disk but the disk is already inserted??? What do I need to do?

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Mac recently won't recognize Canon PowerShot A610. Any help appreciated Also, are there any new drivers that need to be installed? Thank you

You can avoid problems by using a card reader instead of the camera and downloading to a folder you create on your desktop.

I get a camera for a gift but have no software to download pictures.

Don't bother with the software as it's awful. Just remove the memory card and upload the images via a card reader connected to your pc. It's much faster and easier. Windows and Apple pc's already include software which will recognise when you have inserted the memory card and will then offer to upload the images for you.

If you still want the original software then click here to visit the GE webpage for your model and then click on the page link.

The Menu button and the MCR button arent working.

Hello!
This problem appears due to a missconnection on the upper operation board, that's the one on the top including menu button.
You should disassemble the upper handle unit clean all the connections by removing all the flexicables and reassemble it all back.
A lot of screws but you will solve the problem.
