I just purchaced a FAIP replacement pressure washer pump model no. PMP10247 and would like to download a manual.

Back behind the water outlet tube are components that have small orifices that become clogged from lime, clay, mud and other contaminants. Mud and clay mostly from well water. I've had over 60 pressure washers in the past three years. I bought them because they didn't work and I would repair the pumps unless they were cracked, then I would buy new pumps to install. It would help to know the pump model details or even the make. Faip, Himore, Annovi Reverberi etc...or even the pressure washer model number as long as it is the original pump. If it is an Annovi Reverberi then it could also be a bad shutter valve. Now there is a revised design of the shutter valve. The part number for that valve is AR42497.

What you have is a generic pump from china more than likely. Its built along the line of a FAIP pump. They arent supposed to have the oil changed in them at all. Most are sealed pumps but may have a plastic plug in it. If you must replace the oil then I would suggest Pressure washer parts catalog quick links Pressure Washers High Pressure... and get this item 4.5 OZ. AR64545 OIL FOR AXIAL PUMPS. It is recommended for pumps built similarly but not for your specific pump. But it should work. Good luck. W

Im surprised that this model pump has a oil refill. Most pumps of this size arent refillable. This looks to be a pump made by FAIP. Its an ok pump but I would recommend using it until it fails and then replace with an AR RMW pump. Much easier to get parts for. Here is a diagram of your pump...The oil refill plug is on the side of the pump...that is located under your engine. You want to get the recommended oil for your pump. Most pump oils are 30 weight non-detergent but these small pumps take an oil specific to only them. You could have one are two problems with the pressure washer.
1...pump for pressure washer worn and needs washer/seal replacement.
2...Need to adjust the pressure discharge relief valve to the needed pressure.

This unit has a Faip pump on the unit, no water should come out the chemical injector. The chemical injector can be closed off with no problem by installing a plug where the chemical injector hose bard is currently located.
You can also replace the chemical injector, here is a link to view the part.

I don't know about that brand of power washer.
We used several types of power washers over the years, and they each called for 20 or 30 weight non-detergent oil in the pump. SAE 20 or SAE 30

The pump oil comes about half way up inside the pump.

The engine oil is 10W30



Do not turn a power washer on its side or upside down or oil will run into carburetor.

Alot of people have tried doing this as the genuine o-ring and seal kits are so expensive and sometimes hard to source, but many companies make orings and seals that are unique and cannot be found aftermarket,
If you are lucky you may find some but the only way of doing so would be to take the actual seal and orings down to your local bearing and seal supplier and they will measure it up and do their best to find some for you...
