I found a screw stuck between the dryer barrel where it spins around. I jiggeled the barrel enough so the screw fell out and problem solved.

My chevy 2500 clunks only when driving in 4 wheel drive


May want to look at the front axles. If the boots are torn and the joints are dry, the axle is causing the clunking noise. Also,check the transfer case fluid level,low fluid level can cause the noise due to dry or damaged gears.

It is probably the drum bearing going bad and yes it is okay to use but will probably sart clunking when it wheres out all the way.

It could still last awhile so if you can put up with the noise just wait for it to quit before replacing the compressor or getting a new fridge.

there is a gear, pop the top cap off the agitor, the gear is in there, near the top might need to be replaced, sears has most parts for most machines

Maytag Dryer clunking noise


Sounds like you need a blower wheel.you will need to remove the front panel and the houseing under the front panel.It is located on the bottom front laft side. if you need help on assembly or disassembly let me know hope i fixya :)

Clunking noise


The clunking noise may be a broken weld on the drum.  Every time it turns and passes through the guide wheel supports, it makes a thunk thunk noise.  You will need to have a qualified LG technician diagnose the problem correctly but that's what it sounds like.
