Question about Dryers
The machine alway made a load klunk when shifting to spin. Now you have to catch the machine right when its ready to spin and help turn it by hand to get started.
This sounds like the drive belt is worn out and slipping. You'll need to turn off the power and water to the machine, pull it away from the wall, remove the back panel and change the belt. It's under the main drum assembly and visible. This isn't the easiest thing to do, so if you are not compfortable with this type of work, you may want to consider calling for service.
