Question about Canon PIXMA iP6700D InkJet Photo Printer
I had this happen on one of my canons, and despite getting a replacement print head the problem continued. I suspect that when it happens it's because of an interpreter error in the printer itself and the print head is being told to squirt photo-magenta very lightly over everything. I know it's not the driver as the problem continued when the printer was attached to a different computer with a fresh driver install.
I think you may have to consider that the cheapest way of fixing this is buying a new printer.
