i have just installed a new wireless router, the internet works on the computer that it is plugged into but the wireless connection doesnt work, when i restart the router the connection is discoverable but the seams to time out can u help????

You haven't given enough detail for anyone to help.
Reset the router to defaults and go through the setup process very carefully, paying close attention to the details.
Don't set encryption until you have a good wireless connection.
