Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console
Erm i have an action replay ds and i have been playing pokemon diamond.
it has benn fine until a while and it has suddenly stopped reading.when i turn the ds on with the AR it says no game inserted and i cant usb it to the PC either
Try resetting the hardware by following these steps:
1/ With the console powered off, hold A+B.
2/ Power up the console while still holding A+B.
3/ As soon as the Nintendo screen is displayed, before our screen stating this product is not endorsed by Nintendo, press and hold Start and Select while keeping hold of A+B.
4/ Continue to hold these buttons until the Main Action Replay screen is displayed, then release. Your product is reset, and will accept codes once more.
I do not have credit. these instructions were from codejunkies.com (creators of AR). then try uploading them on the computor.

Press a+b at the same time then turn on the ds but don't take ur hands off the a+b buttons then when you see the thing that says not licensed by nintendo put ur fingers on the start+select button so now should have ur fingers on 4 buttons a+b+select+start hold them down for 10 seconds. do this till it works then hopefully ur action replay should work. good luck :)

When my ar said it had no free space when there were no codes on it. I bouht a new one and that one did the same thing happened when I tried to put in my son's code list with the codes for all the games we have the same thing happened. I tried my code list with only pokemon codes it fixed it I now have both working.

Let it rest for 5 hours and try doing the reset thing.I had the same problem.I tried adding a new game in and when i put theid in the touch screen filled up with lines so if those both things dont work just buy a new one.

Well,my prob. is my action replay says the codes are activated, but when i play my pokemon diamond,my codes are kicking in.
to answer ur prblm the black lines problem is fake.my diamond has black lines but when i take the AR out,it still works
try using this, hold a and b then turn on the ds(DONT LET GO OF A AND B!)then when the ds is at the main title screen hold select and start also.
Warning:this totally restarts ar so you'll have to add ur codes all over again, and add the games too

You will either have to buy a new one or try and fix the cable.
