Crackling speaker as soon as i switch on my digital piano

It looks like the Korg c-15s has a internally mounted speaker and so I will assume that the speaker and amplifier are part of the piano base. It sounds like either the speaker is blown (crackling sounds heard as deformed voice coil scrapes the magnet structure) or the audio amplifier is distorting the audio.

Connect the piano's output to an external amplifier and speaker to properly identify problem.

The Yamaha P95 is have a semitone out. Using the transposing function moves it up or down a semitone, however it's still out from concert pitch where it should be?

how come mine is ok, maybe it's depends on where you bought it.

Need to get instructions how to use the metronome

Check the manuals for the Eurogrand EG540/EG1040 (which are apparently similar but discontinued) at this site:http://behringer-en.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/behringer_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_alp.php?sm=2

Korg C-15 S concert piano

vriendelijke groet

One key sound louder and does not respond when I

Keyboards that sense the dynamics of playing have two contacts underneath each key. One of those contacts is most probably a bit dirty.
To clean it, you need to open the piano housing, remove the faulty key (you may need to release the keyboard from the base), there are rubber (or another kind of) contacts, similar to those in a remote control. If they are rubber contacts, you need to clean them on the rubber side as well as the tabs on the board under the rubber button with a cotton stick and some ethyl or isopropyl alcohol (don't use acetone, benzene or similar strong solvents, you will damage the rubber).

If they are another kind of contacts (e.g. relay type - metallic, you need to clean them with very fine sandpaper.

That should do the trick, but if it doesn't, there is probably physical damage to the conductive rubber or tabs on the contact board. To repair the rubber contact itself you need repair liquid (e.g. for remote keys, which is actually made of some benzene, some rubber glue and some grapphite powder). You can make it yourself but you may need to experiment with the grapphite/glue ratio to get enough conductance for the contact to work properly. You'll get the grapphite dust by smearing a drawing pencil core over a piece of fine sandpaper.

If the contact tabs on the board are damaged, you'll need some "leitsiberlack" - silver repair liquid, this is a similar liquid that contains silver and makes a somewhat solid contact. (i'm not sure about sources for this, but in europe, it's sold by Conrad electronics under the name "leitsilberlack"). You need to apply some but take care not to connect the two halves of the tab or the key will not work properly.

I had a case of identical malfunction on a roland synth (it has rubber contacts) and the cleaning alone solved the problem entirely, hope you can solve it that way yourself.

Need help connecting Korg C-303 (Concert Piano) and Korg Symphony Model O3 (Orchestra Module). Have no documentation for the Symphony module.

Assuming the C-303 has a MIDI out, connect a MIDI cable from the MIDI output of the C-303 to the MIDI input of the symphony module.

Connect two audio cables (mono 1/4 inch) from the symphony module to a suitable audio amplification system OR possibly into auxilary audio input jacks of the C-303, if they exist.

I have a Symphony module but not the piano you have and I have mine connected to a Yamaha organ.

Manuals for Concert Piano Korg C-15

I have a Korg Concert Piano (C-15S) which was working perfectly till about two months ago. I have been on vacation for two months, had left the piano unplugged from the electric supply point, but on re-connecting now, I get no sound from it. Is there a reset button (or other device) that I may have to use? Appreciate your advice.

Thank you,

L. Paul
