Question about Sony KLV-S23A10 23 in. LCD HDTV
This may be a problem on the 5 volt line in the set, there is a constant 5 volts running through it even when it is off....so long as its plugged in.
There may be condensors that are open on the 5 volt line.. after they warm up they start to function more proper. but being that they are leaky..they are no longer doing thier job of keeping voltage steady until they warm up.
i do not condone this but if you were to open it up , im willing to bet you have a series of swollen or blown condensors that are not doing thier job on the pwb (power supply board) if thats the case its a 30 minute fix for a technician. Id like to discuss this with you further , i do have a couple questions that may help me diagnose this.
