Mitsubishi Mr Slim Units Take 5+ minutes to start

I recently had some Mitsubishi Mr. Slim units installed in my home (MSZA09NA, MSZA24NA, and MSZ-FD12NA are the inside units and the outdoorcondensers are: MXZ4A36NA for the first two listed and MUZ-FD12NA forthe latter.) I've noticed that they take upwards of 5 minutes before they start spitting out any warm air. I can hear the beep after I press the remote which leads me to believe the command was sent. I live in the northeast but we haven't had any real cold days/nights that would ''freeze'' the condensers. Is this normal? Thanks.

This is not abnormal. you dont have to worry about the refrigerant freezing. it wont. Once your unit is given the call for heat it can take 5 minutes easily for the refrigerant to circulate and draw the btus from the ambient air. you can try to change the setting on your fan to medium but no higher.

Just installed 5 units in my home. all four work

It sounds like the condensate from the drain pan is not draining correctly! The drain tube from your Air Handler unit may be kinked or not properly installed. The condensate water from the unit should be drained outside at least.
