Digital Camera Canon Sure Shot - great pictures, but too slow response/recovery between shots. I go for a shot of a child and they're out of the picture before the lens snaps. If your computer has a built in card reader you can put any photo back on the card from your computer by dragging and dropping the file to the drive letter that is your SD card. Unfortunately, no. Time-lapse video works by taking fewer frames and then displaying them at normal speed so as to give the impression of time going by faster than in reality. Thus, the camera simply hasn't recorded all the information it would have in normal mode, and there's no way to recreate that information. Think of reading just the first line of every page of a book: you'd get through it quickly, but you'd also miss some things.

Now, if you'd shot in slow-motion, then you could throw out some frames until you got to normal speed.

There is a diaphram between the shutter button and the shutter that does the focus. Pushing the button half way down pre-focuses and then the picture is instantanious. If the diaphram is broken it take a while before the shutter takes the picture. One of the AA batteries may be defective so try another set and see if that is better. There is also a slight possibility that the secondary battery (hidden within the camera) has gone bad.

On the back of the camera there is a small button just to the right of the top of the LCD which has what looks like a little clock. Pressing this button will take you through the 3 modes of operation which are:
Single shot, multiple shots and timer. Watch the LCD panel and you should see the icon change when you press the button. When the single rectangle is showing, that is single shot, when it is multiple staggered rectangles that is multi shot and when you see a little clock that is timer mode. Usually I shoot with multi shot mode.

The pictures are over exposed. did you put the iso on max? Is the exposure correction set to the max?
