SOURCE: The Oven Won't Light

The igniter must draw approximately 3.0 amps before it will open the gas valve to allow the oven to function. Place a clamp amp meter on one of the leads and check the amount of current. If less than 2.9 amps replace the igniter. You can find it on http://www.ignitors.com/oven-ignitors/dynasty.html

Pilot is on but oven won't fully light

Hello, I think I know what your problem is...if you're referring to the oven bake burner it is the hot surface ignitor which is failing. If you're talking about something else let me know, otherwise swap out the bake ignitor and you'll be fine. Thanks for visiting "fixya" and good luck. Macmarkus :)

Oven does not "burn" steadily when set below 300 degrees.

Sounds like you have a bad oven ignitor and oven burner tube. install a Amperage meter on one of the oven ignitor wire, It should draw above 3 AMPS, if it is below then you have a bad oven ignitor, or just change the oven ignitor to see if it makes any difference. Have fun.

Broiler doesn't lite, no gas going to pilot

Most cases Broiler ignitor is out, after you turn on the Broiler, check the voltage on Broiler ignitor 2 wires, if you have approx. 110v, then change the ignitor, but you don't have 110v, then check Broiler safety valve and oven thermostat, but 90% of the time is the Broiler ignitor. Have fun.

Explosion in heating chamber when oven is lit.

the air adjustment is open just a little to much the flame will have a hard time to go to the other side, try closing the vent to the burner just a Little bit and try the oven, another problem that i see is that the ignitor is getting to weak to ignite the flame on time.

Dynasty model dgr-336b mfg.1993 converted to propane serial #040692h

pull up the floor of your oven and look at the burner, have any of the small gas holes rusted out in to bigger holes? Sounds like it is possible that most of the gas is now coming out a 'burned out' hole rather than the small neat row of normal holes. Good luck.

Dynasty range, oven does not heat up enough

30 inch oven has only one oven tube, 36 inch oven has 2 burners in it, most comment is the oven ignitor is out. If you have 2 burners, I'll change both oven ignitor at the same time, because they worked together. also check the oven tube, if it is corroded at the ignitor area, change the burners. Have fun.
