Question about ASUS M2NPV-VM Motherboard
During boot, I get the bios beeps indicating a video adapter (on-board) problem. I have no other pci-x adapter right now. Is there a way to fix it?
For memory go to pg. 1-14 section 1.7.2, after going over these configurations go to pg. 1-15 & check your current memory against the QVL list. In regards to the NVIDIA 6150 GPU lets check the device manager & see if there is a problem. At display adapters do you see a red X or a yellow ! point? If red X the NVIDIA controller is most likely defective. If a ! point, right click & uninstall device. Before you restart the PC reinstall the chipset drivers from the Asus CD. If the problem failed to resolve you'll have to contact Asus tech EST at 812-282-2787. The tech will run you trough a quick check to be sure the controller is defective & will than give you a case number for a RMA. You'll have to ask to be transfered to the RMA dept to save you from another call. To test your memory 1 dimm at a time download this program for free CrystalMark 0.9.123.404b & check your memory.: http://www.warp2search.net/crystalmark-2004r2-0-9-123-404b-s36517.html
I hope all goes well!
