PCI Device Conflict

I have and Epox 9NPA3J Motherboard with an AMD Athlone 64 processor and 4 Gb Ram. I run an ATI HD 2600 Xt 256M DDR 4 Graphics Card. I have a continuous PCI Device conflict (PCI Slot 5 (PCI bus 5, device 0, function 1)), and have exhausted all avenues to rectify this problem. The problem causes my Windows XP SP2, to hang and it has to be restarted numerous times before it start up correctly

13) Go to Fans;
80mm / Regular / 2 Fans. (Just guess-timating)

All fields should be entered now. If not make adjustments to what I didn't know. Include in the proper field.

Now go to the bottom right, and click on - Calculate

I come up with 265 Watts.

Want to know EXACTLY what hardware is used inside; without opening the computer case?
Use the tiny free program, CPU-Z from CPUID.com

(Can help you download, install, and use, CPU-Z if you need.
I have used CPU-Z for years)

Hi,

No need for depression.
Go to your Device Manager > Display adapters > double-click on your card [HD2600xt]. Go to the Resources tab and you will see one of the resources marked with red, try to manually change it's corresponding resource type setting until it is safe to use [I presume that you have a resource-conflict issue !?]. Until you do so, your gfx card will not use it's full potential ;)

Kind regards,

I have procesour -- AMD 64 X 2 athlon motherboad -- asus M2A VM HDMI ram --- 4 GB ddr 2 (800 fsb) hd --- 500 gb which grafic card should i buy

any ati radeon direct x 10 cards will do nicely ....depends if you play games ,work as business, or use pc for media..

media and games are more demanding so spend more on a better card.

especially the hd range.

well that all depends on the money you want to spend. Since you are using an Asus board and AMD processor I would reccommend a PCI-E 16 ATI card. Something like the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102869 . Good luck!!
