If the fans are not working, your power supply is not working properly. It is only partially powered (low voltage)
If your motherboard was the problem, the power supply fans should works as well as the CPU fans. So, try replacing your power supply. Okey, hope this will help U.

When i turn it on the light goes green then it goes yellow and off

Are you sure it doesn't turn yellow then blink red?

Yellow light and off: Power supply and board might have been overheated, pulling the gpu and cpu off the main board.

Red blinking light, board is overheated and the gpu and cpu has pulled from the board.

Both are easy fixes for a professional and should cost you no more then 100 for power supply and fix or 50 for the fix. That's what I charge. Anyone who charges more is ripping you off. It is even better if you can try this yourself, but reheating the board yourself is dangerous if is done wrong and can leave you with an incapacitated Playstation.

WONT POST AND HAVE LIGHTS ON THE TOP RIGHT THAT

Remove all cards and all memory. Only use a video card, if needed or the on-board video.
Plug in the power, turn on note the screen messages, if any.
A message should show on the screen something like... no memory, no ... (maybe some thing else).

Test the cpu to see if it is good. You can borrow another, or get some one to test it for you. If the cpu is good, then the mother board is suspect.

At this point if you should be able to tell which is bad.

The kind of things you mentioned could be caused by: bad mother board, bad bios, bad cpu, and even possibly bad memory. (one of those).
A board which hangs like this can also have problems with a daughter card.

GA-M57SLI-S4 wont power up !!! what to do !

Hi check the cables from the case to the mother board. They should be marked and the manual that came with the board ,this show you where to connect them on board The std markings are HDD [red led] PWR S [powerswitch] RSW [reset switch] PWR LED [case power light] in most cases check to see if this is correctly connected
To test if there is no fault in the board or power pack. first visualy check the board to see if it shows a red led light when the power is turned on, if not the problem is in the power pack or the wall outlet.
second if the light is on, bridge the pins marked pwr switch on the board with a screw driver and this should start the computer, check the processor and ram if not you have a faulty board.

Pover up trouble

sounds like something is drawing down on your 12 volt supply drives or on board regulators. Try it without the drives connectged, and see if you can get the system to boot up(you'll just get a notice that your drives are unavailable, but you'll already know that, right?

got backup for your Dell?

Only fans are starting - nothing else

Hi,
Have you checked the CMOS/BIOS Battery? How about reseting the BIOS jumpers?

Test the system using Motherboard with processor and 1 RAM, just connect power and screen only, switch it on. It it fails try another memory... Whether the memory, board of processor is the problem.

Fixya me when done....

Post me back if it doesn't work...

Wont find monitor

Did this happen suddenly, or have you installed any new hardware? Try a different monitor. If you have new hardware, remove it. Your onboard video could have gone out, try a pci video card. Remove all pci cards and try booting. Try a different RAM module if available. If none of these seem to work, your cpu or more likely your motherboard is failing.
