Question about Maytag 24 in. MDBH950AW Built-in Dishwasher
I have a portable LG dishwasher.I did not use it for about a month and then when i Tried to use it all it will do is to fill up with water and then nothing happens.I can see the power is on and timer is ticking.lease tell me what is the problem? Can I fix it by myself? If not how much it will approximate cost me to get it fixed?
Fixya not being an actual repair shop has no idea what might be wrong since we can not test the unit , nor do we know what a local shop might charge for it

The first thing you might want to do is check the water pressure in the house. Ideal water pressure should be from 55psi to 75psi max. I have seen homes that had pressure around 125 psi which will cause pressure leaks in water heaters, softners, washer valves, r/o systems. Check to see that all, if any inlet screens are clear and free from any grit and sand. It's possible that your inlet water valve (wd10m0010) has become restricted. Other than that, the complete uncoupler hose assy. part number is wd24m0030. These parts are for the dishwasher model ending in gsc3400j00bb. They are the same for model number ending in 00ww. Good luck.

The average life of a dishwasher is 7-10 years. The symptoms strongly indicate a motor pump problem and my personal opinion is if that is the case youd be better to put the money toward a new dishwasher.
