If you both have AOL, you can use the AOL photo album. It savings a copy on AOL. You upload the photos and sent the album link to other members. And they can pull off the ones they want to keep. I am not sure if yahoo, etc, has it or not, but you could always look into that.

If you have several (or many) images to re-size, try a batch processing program like ACDSee, or the free downloadable "irfanview" program.

you could also try using the free Google download program called Picasa. When you send an image as an attachment to an email, it automatically downsizes the file for fast sending and receiving. Don't expect the recipient to receive a file large enough for printing 8x10's from though.

You can do that in 2 ways.

1) Shoot the photo or video in reduced size (less quality). This can achieved by adjusting the settings in your camera.

2) Use 3rd party software like photoshop or Microsoft paint to manually reduce the size using it.

The pictures are too big, reduce the size by compressing them using JPEG software.

Make sure you are using the uploader provided with facebook, verify that your photo size is allowed and that may help. Many newer high resolution cameras take a very hi resolution picture, and as a result the photo has too large of a file size. Download Jasc painshop pro free, or other photo editing software and try to reduce the file size of your photo. You can also reduce the pixel count from your camera before you shoot. Also remember that, the larger your file size the slower the picture will load. This will make it hard for friends and family to view your picture due to long download times.

Blackberry will not send pics as mms

The BlackBerry device user is unable to send photos taken with the BlackBerry device camera in Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) messages, because the photos taken by the BlackBerry device camera may be too large to send in MMS messages.
Reduce the size or quality of the photo and resend.
To access the size and quality options for the BlackBerry device camera, complete the following steps:
  1. Open the Camera application.
  2. Click the menu button.
  3. Select Options.
  4. Change the Picture Size and Picture Quality settings as required.
  5. Click the menu button and select Save.
And try to send the photo in an email message instead of in an MMS message.

Scanning with the Mp760

Place the photo face down on the glass.

Open MP Navigator from the desktop icon or programs list.

Click scan photo/document.

Select what you want to do with the image - save to pc, send via email et.

If you save to pc, make sure you keep track of where you save it to. Then go to that folder, left-click the photo, scroll down to send to, select mail recipient, then reduce the size of the image if it prompts you and that is suitable. A window should open with your image imbedded in an email. Type the recipient and click send.

Emailing photos

The best you can do is save them as a .jpg before sending them. .jpg files are significantly smaller than .gif files. If you need help saving files as a .jpg, post a new help.

You can also check the file sizes by right clicling the file and then selecting properties.

Good Luck!

Sending photos as an e-mail attachment

When sending photos as e-mail attachments, the image (file) size should not be too large. Use the included image viewing program called Image Expert to save photos in reduced size. For instructions on installing Image Expert, see "Installing the image viewing program" on page 42 of the Instruction Manual. 1. Launch Image Expert. 2. Choose "Open Image" from the "File" menu. 3. Specify the image you want to reduce, then click "Open". If the camera is connected using the USB cable, it is displayed as a removable disc. images on the camera can be opened directly by specifying the remove-able disc. 4. Click on "Change Size" in the "Image" menu. 5. Input values at "Width" and "Height", then click "OK". If "Keep Aspect Ratio" is checked, the size is changed without changing the image’s vertical:horizontal ratio. 6. The image is displayed at its new size. 7. Click on "Save As" in the "File" menu to save the image with the new size.
