Paper jams can be tricky to solve. The paper is usually stuck inside the printer mechanism so even if there is no visible paper jam, you will still get the paper jam error. Try this:

1. Turn off your printer
2. Open all trays and remove any paper stuck there
3. Locate the button to open the printer, open it and remove any paper stuck there also.
4. Repeate the above step for all buttons that you can find to access the inside of the printer
5. Close all doors and put back all trays
6. Turn on your printer

My printer is constantly jamming papers. What maybe the cause and how can I prevent or solve this?

Its possible the paper is not good for the printer or the internals are dirty. Check your printer physically and run the cleaning option and try again.

To avoid a jam:
  1. Use only one kind of paper at a time in your input tray.
  2. Whether you have a single input tray in your printer's driver or many input trays, tell the printer what kind of paper you have in the tray: Most printer controls include a section or drop-down list where you can pick a paper by name, type, thickness, or other quality.
  3. If you aren't sure whether your printer takes a certain kind of paper, check its documentation.
  4. When you reload your input tray, pay attention to the tray's needs, such as how the paper should be loaded and whether the length or width guides need adjusting.

I've been having "remove MP paper" error for a while and I don't know how to solve this! Help!

Empty all of the input paper-trays.
Does the error-message go away?
If not, then the sensor in one of the trays
(that detects "paper-jam" or "out-of-paper") is "stuck",
and it's falsely reporting.

Check the sensors.

If all else fails, take the printer to a qualified technician, for professional cleaning/servicing.

My brother dcp-560cn keeps jamming and making noises as if it is destroying itself have cleared all paper from jam and it still jams why is this

Step 1
Turn the printer off and on to see if it can automatically clear some or all of the jam. Many printers provide an error-code listing on the front panel display for the area where the jam occurred. If your printer shows an error code, be sure and check the printer manual to see if that identifies the area of the printer where the jam occurred.
Step 2
Turn off the printer.
Step 3
Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
Step 4
Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
Step 5
If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it in a bag or away from light to avoid damaging it.
Step 6
If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly. The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
Step 7
If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper. Don't force anything, though.
Step 8
Replace the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.
Step 9
If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Inspect the paper path once again.
