I have the code but do not know how to input it to unlock my car radio. The car is a 1993 Volvo 440xi automatic. I lost the code to the radio when I had a car alarm fitted and now can't get the radio back on.

Hi, i need a code to unlock the radio of my mitsubishi galant

Your local Mitsubishi dealer will be able to give you the code for the radio.

I had the same problem with a 1993 Volvo and called the dealer - they gave me the code.

My car just got fixed but the radio wont work and I lost the radio code to unlock the radio. Please help me

The only way to retrieve your unlock code will be going to the Volvo dealer unfortunately.Simple go to the service department at the dealer ship you might have to have your vehicle ownership and they might charge a small fee.

Battery died on 2000 volvo c-70 need unlock code for radio

it should be in your glove box with the manualy, if its lost then call the dealer and see if they have it on file , if they dont then radio must be removed to get serial number then go to dealer with serail # and your registration to prove its your car and they will give you the unlock code, hope this helps, ps, we do this all the time when customers loose the code card, but we just call they know us, we just get serial #. you shouldnt have any problem.

call your local volvo dealer and tell them your battery went dead and that you need radio code. they will ask you for car VIN...dont go that route, pull out radio and give them the numbers on the sticker ontop of radio. and make sure you keep the code written down. Good luck.

Unlock code for volvo cd/radio

To unlock the radio, enter the four-digit
security code found on the removable

If the code is entered incorrectly, you
can try 2 more times. After 3 incorrect
entries, the radio will display “LOCK.”
You must turn the radio off, while leaving
the ignition and battery on, for 1
continuous hour before attempting to
unlock the radio again.

Need radio code for a 1993 Volvo 940 GL

I'm pretty sure that you can call any Volvo dealer and get the to the service manager.

You can pay for codes online but there is no real need to.

Input radio code in a volvo redio

A volvo dealer can look up your radio code if you provide the VIN. The problem is that then you have to follow the instructions in your user's manual to actually input the code, and the manual seems to be a poor translation from Swedish to English.

So you have to get a Volvo dealer in a headlock and force the correct instructions out of them. If you do this before I do, please let me know!
